Hair isn’t just my profession—it’s who I am and what I was always meant to do. I began my career over 30 years ago in the suburbs of Los Angeles, where my passion for the beauty industry first took shape. Life and love eventually brought me to Michigan, allowing me to continue growing, evolving, and deepening my connection to the hair world.

I’ve pursued extensive education in the latest hair trends, advanced cutting techniques, color, styling, and texture services, and I consistently seek out opportunities to stay current and inspired within the ever-evolving beauty industry. Expanding into facial services has brought me more joy and fulfillment than I ever imagined.

I have been a licensed cosmotologist for 5 years now, after becoming certified while studying at Bella Institute of Cosmotology in Tigard, Oregon. I pride myself in having the ability to take dull, lifeless hair and transform it into something beautiful and jaw dropping. During my time as a cosmotologist, I have learned so much about not only the industry, but myself as well. While I love doing hair of all colors, shapes and sizes, I have found I love and have great specialities in certain areas. I always get especially excited when working with blonde and vivid colors. I love watching the reaction on my client’s face when they get a first look at their new hair! In addition to these colors, I also enjoy performing mens and womens haircuts, and doing updos. My biggest goal as a stylist is to give my clients exactly what they want and have them leave feeling like they can conquer the world.

Courtney Gross
My name is Courtney, and I’ve been a licensed esthetician for over three years with a true passion for all things skin and beauty. I’m originally from the small town of Chesaning and pursued my dream by attending the Douglas J Aveda Institute in East Lansing in 2019.
​
After graduating, I worked in a dermatology office where I gained valuable, hands-on experience treating a variety of skin conditions, including skin cancer. During that time, I assisted with skin surgeries and cosmetic procedures, further deepening my understanding of skin health and results-driven care.
​
A few years ago, I relocated to the area and am now proud to be part of the team at Salon 219 in Grand Ledge—where I get to do what I love every single day. I specialize in customized facials, chemical peels, full-body waxing, classic lash extensions, and lash lift and tints. I also offer professional makeup application for weddings and special events.

I’ve been a licensed Esthetician for two years, but my love for all things beauty started long before my career. After overcoming my own struggles with acne, I discovered a passion for skincare and helping others feel confident in their skin.
I specialize in acne treatments and anti-aging services, but I also love shaping pristine brows, creating eye-popping lash lifts and tints, and delivering smooth results with waxing. My goal is always to help you feel radiant, refreshed, and confident.
When I’m not in the treatment room, you’ll usually find me with a good book in hand, exploring new wellness practices, or diving into education (I’m a bit of an education junkie!). One day, I hope to share my love of esthetics as an educator and inspire others to follow their passion in this amazing industry.
