Being a hairstylist is who I am, who I was meant to be. Beginning my career over 30 years ago in the suburbs of Los Angeles, life and love eventually moved me to Michigan where I was able to continue my love for the hair world. I have had extensive training in the latest hair trends, along with classes for advanced cuts, colors, and styles. I take every opportunity I get to further my education on all the current styles in the beauty industry. I specialize in natural curly hair and perms and my favorite hair to work on is thick, textured hair! My one goal as a stylist is to achieve my clients desired look, and inspire them. I have many talents and passions in life, besides being a mother, hair is my greatest passion. When I am not with my daughter, I am all about hair! I love being up to date with the latest trends and taking classes to further my education, I am always eager to learn new things. Although I love to work on all hair types, my favorites are straight short to medium length, with natural colors and highlights. I have been in the beauty industry for over 20 years, and have enjoyed every minute of it. I have been a licensed cosmotologist for 5 years now, after becoming certified while studying at Bella Institute of Cosmotology in Tigard, Oregon. I pride myself in having the ability to take dull, lifeless hair and transform it into something beautiful and jaw dropping. During my time as a cosmotologist, I have learned so much about not only the industry, but myself as well. While I love doing hair of all colors, shapes and sizes, I have found I love and have great specialities in certain areas. I always get especially excited when working with blonde and vivid colors. I love watching the reaction on my client’s face when they get a first look at their new hair! In addition to these colors, I also enjoy performing mens and womens haircuts, and doing updos. My biggest goal as a stylist is to give my clients exactly what they want and have them leave feeling like they can conquer the world.

My name is Courtney and I have been a licensed esthetician for 3 years. I love everything skin and beauty. I’m from the small town of Chesaning. I went to Douglas J Aveda Institute in East Lansing in 2019 to follow my dream. From there I worked at a dermatologist office where I learned all about skin cancers and other skin conditions. I also got to assist in skin surgeries and cosmetic procedures. But my knowledge of skin did not stop there. I moved to this area a few months ago and now work at Salon 219 in Grand Ledge where I get to do something I love every single day on my own as my job. I specialize in facials, chemicals peels, full body waxing, classic lash extensions and lash lift and tints. I also do standard makeup application for any weddings or special events. I specialize in acne treatments and anti-aging services, but I also love shaping pristine brows, creating eye-popping lash lifts and tints, and delivering smooth results with waxing. My goal is always to help you feel radiant, refreshed, and confident.
When I’m not in the treatment room, you’ll usually find me with a good book in hand, exploring new wellness practices, or diving into education (I’m a bit of an education junkie!). One day, I hope to share my love of esthetics as an educator and inspire others to follow their passion in this amazing industry.
